Amazing people! We needed to rent a wheelchair accessible van to be able to take our daughter to her sister's wedding, we didn't want to depend on a... transport service because we wanted her to get there with us and leave with us. Everyone there was so helpful. They not only rented us a van, but we also talked to the maintenance guys about a used Braun chair lift installation, as well as got information about purchasing a new/used wheelchair van. Getting the ins and outs about where to start, who to talk to, and guidance of the purchasing process was incredible! Our daughters had an amazing day, and we're so glad that we could make it happen, with the help of Mobility Works! Thank you to everyone there! We started looking for an accessible vehicle in April of 2023 when it became apparent when we were trying to "bend" our parents into a V to get them... in our GMC Terrain...once in they were fine...but getting in and out we were scraping up their front legs. So I did a search for accessible vehicle's in the area and landed on Mobility Works in Eau Claire, this location although 2 hours away worked because we could visit with a sibling that lived in Chippewa Falls while we were up there. We made our first visit to Mobility Works at the end of June having both parents walk in and out of the side and rear entry vehicles, Mom using her walker and Dad using a wheelchair. And found that a side entry with the front passenger seat removed worked the best to give Dad good viewing and mom could easily sit in the back with a lot of leg room. It took about two months to finally find a vehicle with low mileage that worked for our family. Our representative kept sending us options of vehicles they had available and we wanted to be selective in what secured and she was very patient with us and sending us what we really had narrowed our focus too. Alas by the end of August we had the vehicle and we need to make sure it worked and our representative drove it out to our farm and we were able to make sure Mom and Dad could get in and out easily. And we did our trade in and paperwork and it was all super slick. Would totally recommend MobilityWorks for those first time "seekers" in looking for an accessible van.read more

My Grandson uses a power chair for mobility and absolutely loves the rear entry access. Grandma is in love with all the gadgets and heated seats. Thank you Chris and IMED Mobility Eau Claire! I called many companies looking for help solving a problem for a wheelchair driver to comfortably reach... the pedals. I was offered no assistance, or terribly expensive ideas that may or may not work and extremely rude comments when I chose to try to find a more reasonable solution. I then found IMED Mobility in Eau Claire. They were so nice on the phone that I didn't hesitate making an appointment even tho they were almost a 2 hour drive from Wausau. Super nice employees and didn't push big dollar solutions but instead had a simple idea to try. I am so pleased and highly recommend them! It was nice to share my find with a gentleman I recently met who was having problems with every service place he had gone too.read more
