2018 Buckeye Wheelchair Games


Come watch some of the top wheelchair athletes from Ohio compete on April 20th and 21st, at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, OH. Sponsored in part by the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) Buckeye Chapter, the 7th annual Buckeye Wheelchair Games will feature two days of competitions in several different events. MobilityWorks is proud to sponsor some of the athletes who will be competing.

The competition will start at 8:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday with events running until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, and the weekend concludes with a banquet at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. SPIRE Institute is located at 1822 South Broadway Geneva, OH 44041.

The SPIRE Institute is an official US Paralympic training site which also hosts large-scale events. All of the competition at the Buckeye Wheelchair Games will be held indoors and is open to the public. Athletes will be competing in events including air guns, bowling, track and field, billiards, swimming and more.
