First, let me say I hate giving reviews. I think good Work and Service speaks for itself amongst the community they uses that Service…

I have been using adaptive equipment for r most of my life, when I started driving back in the 80s when hand controls we really sketchy at Best. And over the past probably 15 years I’ve been using portable hand controls, however after a couple of close calls in the last few months I decided it was time to go back to professionally mounted hand controls. So I called Mobility Works and went down there to take a look at options for safer hand washing controls that I was currently using.. Joe and. Andrew, showed me what was out there in new technology for driving. As most of us know that use hand controls it always comes down to convenience and cost. Mobility Works gets 10 stars when it comes to those two factors that I look for.

Andrew, the tech that installed them has been in the industry for over 20 years and really cares about the way in which he mounts your hand controls in your vehicle! Another thing that makes Mobility Works, a great place to go is that if you need an accessible van with a ramp or lift, this is your company hands-down the best Mobility company I’ve ever used. The hand controls they installed in my vehicle are simply easy to use ,and remarkably they didn’t even have to cut into my dash. So from there, Rental of accessible vans and the selling of accessible vehicles you cannot go wrong with these guys go above and beyond and are very professional. The price is great. The technician is amazing. Thanks again, Andrew,, for not destroying my car :-). Joe and Andrew, please keep up the great customer service!!!!

Nick Hess,
Response from the owner:Hi Nick, wow, we sure appreciate your kind words for our team in Salt Lake. Yes, we agree that good work and service should prevail, but thank you most sincerely for taking the time to send this feedback. This type of support and experience for our clients is very important to us. Honored to have helped you. Thank you for choosing MobilityWorks.
Great customer service. Joe was very knowledgeable and helpful with all of our questions. We were able to test drive several different vehicles and that helped us greatly in knowing what would best fit our son's needs. He was very helpful in making sure we knew what was available to us.
Response from the owner:Thank you Janika for taking the time to share your experience with us. We appreciate the opportunity to work with you and your family. Joe is a great team member and works very hard for our clients. We are here should you need anything additional in the future. Have a great day!
In talking on the phone with Mobility Works, I had great hopes that they could help me with the problems I was having with my mobility van. I live quite a distance away from their shop in Salt Lake so I got up early and was there at their shop at the appointed time of 9 a.m. Three hours later they had not fixed the problem and presented me with a bill for $346.50. The labor portion charged was $330.00. There were three or four people that they helped during the time I was there, so they didn’t get to my van right away. They told me it would cost approximately $6,000 to replace the parts in my door to get it running properly. I went home very discouraged after my long and fruitless day. My son-in-law took a look at my door when he got home and in fifteen minutes, he had the door working and the ramp was working fine too. He said that they had severed the cable that made the door work automatically, so now I have a manually operated door for my $300 plus dollars. They made it seem that my only affordable and reasonable choice was to buy a used van from them which they were happy to help me with. They promised to e-mail me all of the information about my different options for repair and or replacement with a used van but never followed through. I will never do business with Mobility Works again! I feel like they took advantage of me and they really don’t know what they are doing!
Response from the owner:Hi Jennifer. Thank you for your feedback and letting us know about your experience. We try very hard to deliver the best client care, so our sincere apologies for not meeting expectation. We would like to provide a solution and explanation if you wouldn't mind calling our store and asking for the General Manager, 801-487-0111. Thank you Jennifer. We hope to earn another chance in the future.
