Join MobilityWorks at the 2018 Boston Abilities Expo

For almost 40 years, the Abilities Expo has been dedicated to displaying the latest innovative adaptive technologies. The expo will feature groundbreaking accessible equipment, informative workshops, demonstrations and more.

MobilityWorks is proud to be participating in the 2018 Boston Abilities Expo from September 21st – 23rd. Certified Mobility Consultants from Londonderry, Woburn, North Attleboro, and Norwood will be in Booth #215 to answer any questions about accessible vehicles and adaptive equipment.

A few of the Events that will be at the 2018 Boston Expo:

Play Activity Area (Daily)- An area perfect for kids of all abilities. There will be several different activities to try such as a sensory castle, ball pit, and light board.

 Wheelchair Boarding (Sunday from 1:00-1:30)- The founder of wheelchair boarding, Erik Kondo, will demonstrate and explain his skateboard for wheelchair users. He’ll discuss with attendees his experiences and the benefits this sport can provide.

Rescue and Jessica: A Life-Changing Friendship (Saturday from 1:00-1:20) – Meet the New York Times bestselling authors Jessica and Patrick, who were both injured during the Boston Marathon bombing. They will read their book and host a signing accompanied by their real-life dog Rescue.

Power Soccer Demonstration (Saturday from 4:00-4:45)- Members of the Northeast Passage PowerCats power soccer team will show and teach attendees on the tricks to power soccer.

The Expo will be held at The Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, Hall A, at 415 Summer St, Boston, MA 02210. It will run Friday and Saturday from 11am-5pm and Sunday from 11am-4pm. Admission is free and more information can be found on their website.
