The folks here really go above and beyond to help their clients. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

Mobility Works really came through for us. We bought a van for my mother-in-law, who has ALS. We worked mostly with Katie, who got us a great deal,... and understood what we're dealing with as a family. MW cleaned the van up beyond what we'd expected, and did it for free. It felt like they really tried to get us a good deal and didn't try to up-sell any unnecessary additions. We would recommend them , given our very positive experience.read more

Thank you SO much Mobility Works for all of your help these past few days! This whole process was easy from renting to returning the wheelchair... accessible van. Ro was super friendly and very helpful. She explained everything throughly, and showed me how to change all of the settings, locks and belts in the van. My 10-year-old son had surgery at VCU and was put in a Petrie cast so his legs are cast straight out in front of them. They were able to take the middle row and passenger front seat out so that he would fit comfortably. Thank you so much again! Would highly recommend Mobility Works!read more

This review is for the wheelchair van rental only. Renting a wheelchair van is a much better alternative than getting a wheelchair transport. Cost... between the two options are about the same. You might not be able to secure a wheelchair transport on the same day, but most likely you will be able to rent a wheelchair van from the Mobility Work. Renting your own van provides much more flexibility and avoid long wait time for return pickup. The young lady Ro from the rental department was extremely friendly and helpful! She will do anything to make sure her customers are satisfied. She even sanitized the vehicle personally before we picked up the van. The whole rental process was smooth and pleasant. Mobility Works seems like an one stop shopping for all your needs. Check out their website for other products and services offered by the company.read more

This past Monday my father (who is wheelchair bound) and I took my mother to the hospital for her hip replacement surgery that she had been putting... off for years. So you can imagine the worry and stress that ensued when I realized that the ramp to our wheelchair accessible van would not go back in after I let my mom and dad out of the van that morning at the hospital. I fiddled with almost every button in the vehicle but to no avail! Finally, I "strong-armed" the ramp back in and was able to close the door, because I did not want to miss sending off my mom for her surgery.Long story short, I finally got on the phone with Ro from MobilityWorks Customer Service and she worked super hard to fit me into an appointment for the next day. Once I brought it in the service team fixed it in 10 minutes!! The people here are super kind and very genuine. When you run into issues with a handicap accessible vehicle for a parent, trust me, you need everything to work the right way every time. These people are great here and deserve all 5 stars! Many many many thanks!read more

Our accessible Dodge Caravan broke down on our way back to Arlington. We were travelling home from Norfolk with our 23 year old daughter with SMA.... Having exhausted all other possibilities, I called the emergency number for Mobility Works for suggestions. We were 12 miles from the Richmond office where the manager came from home to help. We left the van there and rented an accessible van to drive home! Our van was ready the in 2 days! Mobility Works should have been our first call!!read more

LIFE TURNS ON A DIME and all of a sudden you don't know what to do. That happened to us when my husband was hospitalized for over 100 days. We had... to change our life style and transport him. Having bariatric needs because he is a large tall man complicated matters. It was a lonely dark place to be.James Taylor, singer/song writer, says it best: "When you're down and troubled and you need a helping hand...you just call out my name...I'll come running!" MOBILITY did just that. Lee Crenshaw (Owner) and Jason Blackwell (Sales) held our hands every step of the way providing guidance on the next decision. They are true professionals who find solutions. They care!Life is back on track because of MOBILITY SuperCenter in Richmond, VA. We cannot thank them enough.Barbara & Tyler ScaloneChester, VAread more

I am a quadriplegic from an auto accident 30 some (I don't want to admit) years ago. I have always driven a full size van purchased from other... businesses but since gasoline hasn't seen anything below $3 since early '09, I began to look at the "mini" vans. It quickly became evident that I had been forfeiting many comforts by insisting on full sized vans for so many years. Mobility Supercenter has provided service to my vehicle's, wheelchairs and home adaptations for a number of years. The people there have always accommodated my many special requests with professionalism and integrity. During my visits over the next months, probably 5-6 months, and many conversations especially with other customers, mechanics whom I trust completely, and finally sales who were also spinal injured quadriplegics, I decided on the Honda Odyssey with the VMI conversion. I chose the Honda mostly because of it's impeccable track record and the VMI conversion for it's near invisible and clean finish and the under floor ramp/entry system. My previous roomy vans were occupied by the "back in the day" lifts and passenger seats were inhibited by them making road trips uncomfortable for friends. This new Honda has simply been a joy to drive... for myself and passengers. I can be buckled up in the drivers seat and ready to go in a only a couple of minutes... where I might be just getting inside of my old van to close the sliding side door... and still need to lock the chair in and transfer to the drivers seat... what a difference.... no more will I get soaked or covered in snow riding up that old lift. The list of conveniences just go on and on....The new location and expanded service list along with some of the hardest working, friendly people do truly make the Mobility Center what it has become, the Mobility Supercenter! I feel a commitment from them to provide the best service available anywhere. I commit to them, that when I need service, it will be the staff at Mobility Supercenter providing the service.Thank you Kaye, Lee, Jason, Arlene, Patrick, and Jeremy... also Chuck and Shawn!read more
