My husband needed a specific wheelchair accessible side-entry van, and I had no luck on my own. Stefani at Mobility Works was amazing. She found a van that met our needs and our budget. She never gave up. I went from thinking that we would never have wheelchair accessible transportation to driving our van off the lot. Stefani, Samuel and the Mobility Works team went above and beyond to help us. Thank you! Joy & Scott
Response from the owner:Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that Stefani, Samuel, and our MobilityWorks team were able to find the perfect wheelchair-accessible side-entry van for you and Scott. It’s wonderful to know we could make transportation easier and more accessible for your family. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we’ll be sure to share them with the team. We wish you many safe and happy miles in your new van!

Inspect the vehicle and know what you are getting before you buy!!!! We bought this vehicle for our son and this purchase has been a BIG disappointment and waste of money. While MobilityWorks may appear to provide good customer service, offer one-on-one assistance, and help families find vehicles that meet their loved one’s needs, our experience has shown that good customer service does not always mean you are getting a quality vehicle. Their wheelchair-accessible vans are expensive vehicles, so it is very important to have a vehicle, especially a used one, thoroughly inspected before purchasing to ensure it is safe, reliable, and built to last. When we chose to purchase from MobilityWorks, we believed we were buying from a reputable dealer that understood the needs of special needs families and would stand behind the quality of the vehicles they sold. Because of that trust, we worked to make sure our family could get a reliable vehicle from your company to transport our son. About a year after purchasing our wheelchair-accessible van, we began noticing several issues. The vehicle struggled when driving uphill, it made a loud noise that sounded similar to a motorcycle, and it began using far more gas than normal. After trying to determine the cause, we had the muffler inspected and discovered a huge hole in it along with a severe amount of rust underneath the vehicle. The rust was so extensive that parts of the metal completely fell apart once touched. It was obvious the rust had severely eaten away at the van’s structure and had been on the vehicle for years prior to us buying the vehicle. We were extremely disappointed by what we had been sold. After contacting the MobilityWorks location where we purchased the vehicle, very little was done to address our concerns. In addition to the rust and mechanical problems, we have continuously experienced issues with the wheelchair door and ramp. The ramp often fails to deploy, and the door frequently malfunctions or falls off the track. Because we do not have warranty coverage, we are charged approximately $190 per hour every time we bring the vehicle in for repairs. Unfortunately, the repairs only seem to work temporarily before we end up dealing with the exact same issues again. Most recently, we brought the van back to MobilityWorks for another repair to the door and ramp, and within less than two weeks the problems returned. The idea of continuing to spend $190 every visit for repairs that do not last has become financially exhausting for our family. As parents of a child with special needs, having a dependable wheelchair accessible vehicle is not optional, it is a necessity. At this point, we are left questioning whether anyone is truly taking the time to properly diagnose and fix the issue, especially since a loose component on the door that I noticed before still has not been replaced. What is most upsetting is knowing that families caring for loved ones with special needs place their trust in companies like MobilityWorks, expecting honesty, reliability, and safe transportation. Families deserve dealers that genuinely care about the quality of the vehicles they sell to families with needs and would never place another family in a vehicle with the level of rust, damage, and ongoing problems that we experienced.

Can't say enough good things about this dealership. We purchased a brand new VMI honda odyssey from dealership in atlanta and from the very start had issue after issue. The dealership we bought it from and VMI could not/ would not get it fixed and kept giving us the run around. One Saturday afternoon we had loaded my wheelchair bound nephew into the van, when we got to where we were going we could not get the ramp to deploy, the doors would not even open and the air conditioning also went out. As we panicked trying to find someone to help us, I called mobility works. I was told that they would meet me at the dealership and help us. They gave us a very fair price for our screwed up van and sold us a new one. They gave us a loaner ( for free) to use until they could get our new van ready. Stephanie and Sam were both awesome!! Can't thank yall enough. You have a customer for life in us.
Response from the owner:Great news Gail. We are sorry to hear you experienced this issue but we are honored we could be there for you when you needed us most. Thank you for making the call and giving us the opportunity to serve you and your family. We’re grateful for your trust and look forward to supporting you and your family for many years to come.
