Dropped my van off for repairs and rented a van to take my daughter to a clinical trial out of state. When I got home days later, my van was not done. A few days later they called to say we could pick it up, as soon as we got there and tested it, my ramp was still not functioning. We were there after hours to pick it up and there was no help, a cleaning lady came and we asked her if she had anyone we could call for help (the gate came down and wouldn't go back in, so I couldn't shut my door. This is not an area where you want to leave an open car unattended.) The best they could do is offer me another rental at the discounted $100 a day. Its now been 7 days since then, so had I taken that offer...I'd be out another $700 because of their poor skills. This business has a monopoly and they know they have special needs parents like me over a barrel. Then they accused us of blocking their cleaning lady from getting into the building (we asked her if she had another number we could call) and they said my fiance lied when he discovered that they left the hood of my car unlatched...they said they never opened my hood? ummm, the fuse you supposedly replaced is under the hood? Do not recommend. I will never use this business again.
Response from the owner:Hi Shellene. We are extremely sorry to hear about your experience. This is not how we strive to provide service. When we reached out to our store team, they did mention that we had made you aware and even transferred an existing vehicle service contract to you from the previous owner. This helped cover some of the repair plus we covered the additional amount. We also reviewed security footage and the hood appears to be secured and latched while parked. We also understand the frustration of having a vehicle issue, particularly when the vehicle is needed for important travel. We will work hard to ensure a better experience in the future. We’re disappointed that, despite our efforts, we were unable to meet your expectations.

Update: 2 weeks later a person from corporate reached out to apologize for the mixup stating there were issues with the phone system that have subsequently been fixed and offereing to have someone out the next day first thing in the morning. Alas, by that time it was too late as I've contracted with another company. I did add a star back for the acknowledgement of the mistake and the apology. Original Review: Called about a home consultation since my wife had stroke and they advertise about free consultations and looking at their website they sell everything we'd need. I got their call center who transfered me to the Akron store which put me through to a person named "Mary" voicemail as she apparantly does the consultations for my area. Left a voicemail. 24 hours later still no callback, so called again. This time I spoke with someone in the Akron store and they scheduled me for a 10AM appointment the following week which was today (8/4). 10AM comes and goes and no Mary. Call the store at 10:30 and confirm the appointment and they transfer me to Mary's Voicemail. Again leave a message and wait. Come 12:15 still no Mary, still no call back. So I call again to speak with a manager. Call center person this time who again confirmed I had a firm appointment at 10, that it wasn't a "window of time" starting at 10, and she put me through to a store manager (Ernie I believe) but again it was a voicemail. I doubt I'll get a call back and If I were you I wouldn't expect one either. If they can't keep a sales appointment for what probably would have turned into a $50,000 plus job, I'm now questioning if the work would even get ordered and done right or if after sales service would be attended too properly. If they ever respond I'll comeback and update this review but I'm not holding my breath. (it's now 4:30PM and as I expected no one called me back today) So hitting send on this review.
Response from the owner:Thank you Charles for the update and your acknowledgment. We do sincerely apologize again for the miscommunication on our part. We strive to get it right every time and for every client, but we fell short and we apologize. Thank you for the communication back with our extended team. We appreciate your feedback and wish you and your wife very well. If we can ever assist in the future, we look forward to the opportunity. Thank you from the MobilityWorks team.
