Injury Fails to Dampen Love of Racing

Shortly before his 16th birthday Geoff Eberly’s life changed forever, when his dirt bike malfunctioned during a national competition and he suffered a broken neck, leaving him a paraplegic.  After time and many physical therapy sessions, Geoff was able to regain movement in his upper body and hand and arm function which enabled him to get his driver’s license.  Geoff has also earned his technician license as a motorcycle mechanic and now at age 27 Geoff is racing again. He has a racecar that was built to his body specifications, and he now competes in drag races.

Geoff also has several acres of land that he has put to good use.  He bought a tractor with hand controls and planted corn last year. He also has a dirt bike track on his property for friends and their children. But all this is second to the proudest moment of his life, the day he became a father.
