Types of Wheelchair Van Lifts

Braun Vangater II Wheelchair Lift

The Vangater II Series platform offers 30" of usable width, and 43" of usable length. This lift folds out of the way on the inside of your van. You can open the doors and exit without deploying the lift. Lift suitable for up to 600 lbs.

The Braun Vangater II Series lifts are fully electric in operation, for both the fold/unfold and up/down cycles. Lift operation is controlled by the standard hand-held control, the on-lift controls, or the optional remote control.

The Vangater II Series is designed for installation in the side doors of domestic full-size vans. A model is also available for installation in minivans. With the compact tri-fold platform, the lift occupies minimal space inside the vehicle.

Braun UVL Wheelchair Lift (Under Vehicle Lift)

The UVL, or Under Vehicle Lift®, offers an innovative solution to personal mobility. With the lift mounted underneath the vehicle, it remains out of sight and out of your way until needed. This means easy access, a clear side view and maximum interior space—something your friends and family will appreciate on every trip.

The UVL Series platform offers 30" of usable width, and 43" of usable length. Lift suitable for up to 600 lbs.

The Braun UVL Series lifts are electric in operation for both the in/out cycle and the outboard roll stop. The up/down cycle is hydraulic in operation. All functions are controlled by the standard hand-held control or the optional remote control.

Millennium® Series Wheelchair Lift

The Millennium® Series is the true workhorse of the Braun line. Designed for installation in the side or rear doors of domestic full-size vans, three standard models with platform lengths up to 51" ensure there is a lift to fit your needs. With dual hydraulic lifting arms, you'll come to rely on the lift's strength and dependability day after day, year after year.

The Millennium Series platform offers 31" of usable width, with a choice of platform lengths: 43", 47" and 51". Note that longer platforms will require raised doors - see your Braun Dealer for details.

The Braun Millennium Series lifts are fully hydraulic in operation, for both the fold/unfold and up/down cycles. Lift operation is controlled by the standard hand-held control, the on-lift controls, or the optional remote control.

VMI Clearway - Split Platform Wheelchair Lift

The Clearway's fully automatic split platform wheelchair lift folds up and out of the way at the push of a button, leaving the doorway clear. The strong all-steel frame and powerful hydraulic pump allow quick, reliable operation of the lift. Handrails on the frame provide increased comfort and security when using the lift.

The Clearway lift features a stable, non-skid platform with automatic inboard and outboard rollstops, a built-in manual backup system, pre-lubricated bearings at all major pivot points for durability, and dual-power cylinders for smooth operation. It also includes Sto-Lok™ technology to ensure a quiet ride. An optional power remote control, internal swing door operator and sliding door operator are available for even greater convenience.

VMI Klearvue – Folding Platform Wheelchair Lift

The KlearVue Wheelchair Lift has a unique folding design which eliminates hazardous blind spots and provides an unobstructed view for drivers as well as passengers. Its compact design also means no modifications must be made to your vehicle's roof or door even when a long platform is necessary for larger wheelchairs and power scooters. It accommodates a 51" platform in a 48" door.

This powerful and quiet wheelchair lift also features a built-in manual back-up system, automatic inboard/outboard rollstops, permanent, and no-lube bearings at all major pivot points.
