Handicap accessible van dealer financing.
FINANCING YOUR HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE VAN

MobilityWorks can finance your handicap accessible van through our Finance Department. Additionally, some people may qualify for financial assistance:

  • The Bureau of Workers Compensation has a reimbursement program for vehicle adaptation when the injury occurred on the job.
  • Veteran’s benefits usually provide for modifications and liability insurance provides for adaptations needed after an accident.
  • Medicare and Medicaid may provide assistance in situations involving children and other unique circumstances.
  • Some individuals qualify for assistance from the vocational rehabilitation program in their state of residence.
In addition to funding programs, MobilityWorks provides a variety of financing options, including leases and loans with very favorable terms.

"Hi! I’m Audrey. I am the finance manager for MobilityWorks. I will work with you on options for financing your new or used handicap accessible van. Here is an example of the process that we will follow to get you approved:"

Handicap Vans Financing Process
  • Select a wheelchair van with a MobilityWorks salesperson.
  • Complete a credit application. You can download a credit application here.
  • If using a co-signer, download the co-applicant credit application here.
  • MobilityWorks submits the credit application to the bank.
  • MobilityWorks negotiates aggressive financing deals with various banks in order to deliver you the best financing options. We pride ourselves in working hard to make your vehicle purchase a positive experience.
  • The bank returns an answer on the approval with a specific interest rate.
  • Sometimes the bank does not approve people immediately but comes back with a way to get approved. For example, the bank may propose that you put an additional $5,000 down in order to gain approval.
  • Now you are ready to close on the vehicle.
  • During the close process, we review the options for both an extended warranty as well as Gap Insurance. Gap Insurance offers protection if you have an accident and the vehicle is totaled. The Gap Insurance pays the difference between the insurance coverage and the amount owed on the vehicle. This is very important because your insurance company may only recognize the “blue book” value of a typical, unmodified van. Your vehicle may be worth thousands more and you could wind up owing money on a handicap van that has been destroyed. We can include the extended warranty in the loan amount.
  • MobilityWorks takes care of all paperwork in terms of going to the bank directly.
  • We deliver lots of vehicles directly to people’s homes. As a result, we review all financial paperwork over the phone.
Extended Warranty

The extended warranty on handicap vans has $0 deductible and covers wheelchair lift and mobility equipment. Vehicles with 17,999 miles or fewer and a model year of 2003 or newer qualify for a seven year or 100,000 miles warranty.

Used handicap conversion minivans with mileage between 18,000 – 59,999 miles qualify for an extended warranty lasting six years or 100,000 miles. Pricing is variable and dependent on year and mileage of the vehicle.

The extended warranty can be included with the vehicle financing. Additionally, we offer a zero percent financing deal for purchase of the extended warranty.
